Don’t know what you need to include in your reel to make it professional? Videographer and Backstage expert, Tim Grady, breaks down what is absolutely necessary for any actor.

The most important component to remember is preparation! Grady says musical theater actors should come in ready to film with three “super polished” 16–32 bar cuts. It’s a little different with film and TV actors; they should submit their best YouTube clips or clips uploaded to Dropbox and go from there. When put together, these traits make for a real that will be taken seriously by industry pros.
