As a videographer, you are probably used to carrying around large cameras and plenty of extra equipment when shooting a video. Now, thanks to Apple’s iPhone 7, you can give your arm and shoulder muscles a break and capture some pretty incredible video with a smartphone that weighs in at under 5 ounces. Rather than merely taking footage, the iPhone 7 comes equipped with some pretty darn impressive bells and whistles; for example, check out the following features:

Slow Motion

The Apple iPhone 7 allows people to do slo-mo video recording for 1080p at 120fps. So if you are in the mood to recreate the classic opening credits from The Six Million Dollar Man, you can use your iPhone 7 to do just that. The slow motion function on the phone lets you record rapid movements and then reproduce them slowly in your video. To use this feature, go to the Camera app and with the live camera image going, change the recording setting to “Slo Mo.” All you need is to recruit a friend to channel his inner Lee Majors to recreate the iconic TV show opening.

Shoot Video Underwater

The iPhone 7 is IP67 rated, which means it is technically able to withstand being in water that is up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes. In other words, if you enjoy texting in the shower or are prone to dropping your iPhone in fountains, pools and sinks, your phone should make it through the dunking without any issues. As a videographer, you might be tempted to see if this IP67 rating means you can shoot some amazing footage underwater — the answer is a resounding “yes.”
