Eight regional post-conference seminars will take place around the country between late April and early May 2016. Following the highly successful ACT | UJ Arts & Culture Conference held in Johannesburg in March.
VANSA, which has been tasked by the Department of Arts and Culture (DAC) to develop guidelines for the visual arts community, is calling for input into guiding principles of the sector from all stakeholders in the industry.
These practical workshops will take the form of two follow-on sessions, collectively resulting in a two-hour crash course. With eleven diverse workshops on offer, the hardest part will be deciding in which one to engage.
The Arts & Culture Trust (ACT) urges conference delegates, and those interested in how creativity intersects with everyday life, to take advantage of their online library, which showcases interdisciplinary papers, research and projects.
